Customer Assistant - Godalming Store

About the role

Sainsbury's is hiring a Customer Assistant for its Godalming store (GU7 1LQ) on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is paid at £13.23 per hour and involves helping customers, stocking shelves and moving stock. Shifts are planned within the availability window shown and shared three weeks in advance.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first with thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Help wherever needed: filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers and selling products
• Use digital tools to do the job well and improve the customer experience
• Organise and move stock, keeping shelves tidy, clean and well presented, and moving often heavy loads to the right place
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to recommend them confidently

Required profile

• Above the school-leaving age in your country
• Right to work in the UK
• Friendly, enthusiastic about helping customers and able to thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Team player who is flexible and willing to work across the store
• Open to learning, confident with new digital tools and attentive to detail
