Customer Assistant - Part Time, Warlingham

About the role

Sainsbury's is hiring a part-time Customer Assistant for its Warlingham store (CR6 9DY) on a fixed-term assignment ending 26 December 2026. The rate is 13.23 pounds per hour, for about 12 hours per week. Shifts are planned within the availability window shown and shared three weeks in advance.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first with friendly, helpful service
• Help with filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers and selling products
• Use digital tools to improve the customer experience
• Organise and move stock, keep shelves tidy and present, and move heavy loads to the right place
• Learn products, services and promotions to recommend them to customers

Required profile

• Above school-leaving age; 18 or over if shifts include early morning or late night work
• Right to work in the UK
• Friendly, enthusiastic and able to thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Team player who is flexible and open to learning new digital tools
