Customer Delivery Driver

About the role

Join Asda’s store team as a Customer Delivery Driver, delivering orders straight to customers’ doors across Peterlee and the wider North East. You’ll be the face of the brand on the road, ensuring a smooth, friendly experience for every shopper.

Key responsibilities

• Load, transport and deliver customer orders to their homes.
• Keep the delivery van clean, safe and ready for the next route.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.
• Provide courteous, professional service that reflects Asda’s values.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with a positive attitude.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
