Customer Delivery Driver & Supermarket Assistant

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver you will bring Waitrose quality produce to customers' doors and support the store with daily tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping. The role combines active, physical work on the road with friendly, customer‑facing duties in the shop.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers, providing a friendly face for the Waitrose brand and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Communicate any order changes, handle refunds, and assist customers with their groceries.
• Perform safety checks on the van each day and keep the vehicle road‑ready.
• Support the wider CFC team with warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older and hold a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B‑Category) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good people skills, calm under pressure, dependable and professional appearance.
• Physically able to lift crates and move items up to approximately 18 kg.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual car driving licence (B‑Category).
• Basic knowledge of refrigerated vans is a plus.
