Customer Service Advisor – Claims

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our contact centre team supporting home insurance customers across our banking brands. The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid working model, offering a six‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries on new and existing home insurance policies.
• Log new claims and provide regular updates throughout the claims process.
• Assist customers with complex queries and case resolutions.
• Investigate and resolve complaints in line with company procedures.
• Explain policy decisions, including declines, cancellations and underwriting outcomes.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to empathise with customers and ask probing questions to determine needs.
• Commitment to follow processes while thinking creatively to resolve issues.
