Customer Service Advisor – Hybrid (Hailsham)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly, people‑first team in Hailsham. The role operates on a hybrid model, allowing you to work from the office two to three days a week while supporting B2B and B2C customers across phone and email channels.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with both business and consumer customers.
• Handle enquiries from first contact through to resolution, including complaints, orders, returns and credits.
• Process customer orders accurately and monitor back‑orders, suggesting suitable alternatives when needed.
• Liaise with internal teams such as Purchasing, Operations and Sales, as well as external suppliers, to resolve stock or delivery issues.
• Work with courier partners to investigate and resolve transport and delivery queries.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product, service and industry information to provide accurate advice.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with a positive attitude.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
