About the role

Join the SPAR team in Threemilestone as a Customer Service Assistant on a 12‑week fixed‑term contract. You will be the friendly face of the store, helping customers enjoy a smooth and pleasant shopping experience while supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, provide courteous service and answer product queries.
• Maintain store standards, ensuring a clean, tidy and well‑presented environment.
• Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash‑up and secure tills.
• Receive, replenish and display stock, keeping shelves organised.
• Create eye‑catching product displays and stay informed about promotions.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including age‑related sales, food labelling and allergen regulations.
• Follow health and safety procedures to protect colleagues and customers.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and customer‑focused.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling cash and stock.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly.
