About the role
We are seeking a friendly, driven Customer Service Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers. In this fast‑paced, part‑time position you will own the full customer journey, from enquiry to resolution, ensuring a consistently positive experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email and live chat.
- Manage and follow up on back‑orders.
- Prepare and issue customer quotes.
- Conduct price comparisons and support tender processes.
- Resolve complaints and returns professionally.
- Meet or exceed KPIs such as response times, call handling and NPS.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
Required profile
- Ownership & accountability – takes responsibility and follows through.
- Strong work ethic – willing to go above and beyond.
- Resilience – able to manage pressure and challenging situations.
- Adaptability – comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
