Join Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) as a Gateline Assistant in Brighton, where you will serve as the vital first and last point of contact for our passengers. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, safe, and pleasant travel experience for every customer passing through our station.

Missions principales

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with ticket inquiries, verification, and travel advice.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of ticket barriers and station equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming station environment, including essential tasks such as cleaning and de-icing when necessary.
  • Deliver high-quality information services to help passengers navigate their journeys effectively.
  • Promote marketing materials and relevant travel documentation to enhance the customer experience.
  • Uphold strict safety protocols to contribute to the overall security of the railway environment.

Profil recherché

  • Proactive individuals with a strong passion for customer service excellence.
  • Proven experience in managing customer interactions, including handling challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Local residency or proximity to Brighton is required to ensure punctuality for all shifts.
