Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join a fast‑growing, award‑winning client in Newcastle. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a high‑quality experience across phone and email channels while supporting both commercial and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Managing inbound telephone calls from clients and prospective clients.
• Providing quotations and information using company procedures and systems.
• Responding to customer emails and handling technical queries.
• Accurately setting up new claims and ensuring compliant record‑keeping.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of all products and services for both commercial and retail customers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or call‑centre environment.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use standard office software.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday 09:00‑19:00 and alternate Saturdays 09:00‑13:00.
