Customer Service Representative – Part‑time (18.75 hrs/week)

About the role

This part‑time Customer Service Representative position (18.75 hours per week) supports a rapidly growing national distributor. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, process orders, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while working on‑site with a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place customer calls professionally and promptly.
• Take orders over the phone and generate sales invoices using Xero.
• Create Excel order files for warehouse picking and dispatch.
• Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and handle complaints.
• Upsell relevant products where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations and account notes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to uphold service quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
• Strong phone manner with excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive, solutions‑driven attitude.
• Comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team.
