Customer Team Leader – Retail Store

About the role

Join a busy Co‑op store in Kirkcudbright as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own shop. You’ll lead a small team, ensure smooth daily operations and help deliver essential services to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store during your shift.
• Motivate, coach and support team members to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for the team.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes.
• Champion Co‑op values through community engagement and membership growth.

Required profile

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Experience or interest in retail, merchandising or team management (not essential).
