About the role
Our client is seeking a Customs Coordinator to join their established customs team in Totton, Southampton. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting import and export customs declarations for cargo moving in and out of the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Complete accurate import and export customs declarations.
- Prepare and manage required documentation for customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with UK customs regulations and deadlines.
- Provide high‑quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Required profile
- Prior experience in customs operations or logistics (preferred).
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
