Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join our growing public‑sector practice. You will work on large‑scale transformation programmes, helping high‑profile clients strengthen their security posture and embed security into digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of cyber security and risk engagements for public‑sector clients.
• Help organisations improve security posture, governance and compliance.
• Contribute to security assessments, risk reviews and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with delivery and architecture teams to embed security‑by‑design principles.
• Provide security guidance for cloud and digital transformation programmes.
• Produce high‑quality documentation, reports and client recommendations.
• Engage technical and business stakeholders across projects.

Required profile

• Experience working in cyber security, information security or risk.
• Understanding of security frameworks and governance standards.
• Experience supporting security initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security and modern security principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Consulting or client‑facing experience is beneficial.

What we offer

• Base salary £50,000 – £65,000 plus bonus.
