Cyber Software Engineer

About the role

As a Cyber Software Engineer you will combine strong software engineering expertise with a security‑focused mindset to build resilient systems that can operate against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure software solutions for operational environments.
• Apply cyber security principles and secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical workstreams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver complex projects on time.
• Contribute to incident response, vulnerability management and secure systems engineering activities.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in C++, Java, C#, Python or JavaScript.
• Proven experience designing and developing secure software solutions.
• Understanding of cyber security principles, threats, attacks and risk.
• Experience leading technical work or mentoring junior engineers.
• Background in security‑conscious or highly regulated environments; DV clearance or eligibility is desirable.
