Cybersecurity Auditor

About the role

Comcast is hiring a Cybersecurity Auditor in Isleworth, Great Britain. The role performs quarterly audit engagements year-round to help identify and manage risks to the business, working as part of the engagement team across planning, execution and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in audits of company technologies such as physical, network, application, system and data, working collaboratively and independently and usually setting your own priorities.
• Carry out the standard internal audit process: plan, execute and report to business management, with thorough inquiry and data analysis to understand security and technology operations and assess risk.
• Evaluate records, documents, methods, policies and costs against established policies, best practices, information security frameworks, COBIT controls and legal requirements.
• Test controls, prepare clear audit work papers documenting root cause, work performed, investigations and recommendations, and document findings and conclusions.
• Identify audit findings, recommend corrective actions and assist less experienced colleagues with audit methodology and standards.
• Stay current on business risks, audit trends and emerging technologies, and work in a fast-paced, diverse environment, sometimes travelling with little notice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may also be considered).
• 1+ years of internal and/or external cybersecurity audit experience.
• Cybersecurity audit experience or equivalent; CCNA, CISSP or CompTIA, or other technical/engineering certifications, strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the cable, media or telecom industry is a plus; experience with data analytics, cyber controls and/or RPA tools is a plus.
• Ability to work virtually with colleagues in different locations, including availability for extended hours and occasional travel of about 40%.
