Daily Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible (Croydon)

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with primary schools across Croydon and nearby areas to provide daily supply teachers on an ad‑hoc basis. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of classrooms, from EYFS to KS2, with the flexibility to choose when you are available.

Key responsibilities

• Accept same‑day bookings and pre‑booked cover assignments.
• Deliver engaging lessons across early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required.
• Adapt quickly to different class sizes, year groups and school routines.
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records for each placement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Positive, adaptable attitude for working with varied classes and year groups.
• Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
• Capability to plan and deliver consistent teaching, often at short notice.

Required skills

• Classroom management.
• Lesson planning.
• Effective communication with pupils and staff.
