Daily Supply Teacher – Flexible Primary School Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Daily Supply Teachers for primary schools in Croydon and surrounding areas. The role is ad‑hoc and flexible, allowing you to work when it suits you while supporting schools on a day‑to‑day basis. You will join a network of schools linked to the Inspire Partnership, offering variety and a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to same‑day booking calls and provide pre‑booked cover.
• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Prepare quick lesson plans and resources to match the assigned class.
• Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and school environments.
• Maintain strong behaviour management, classroom communication and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Positive, adaptable attitude to work with varied classes.
• Ability to teach effectively at short notice.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
