About the role
Remedy Education is looking for Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to provide flexible, part‑time support for Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils across East London. You will step into schools on short notice when regular staff are absent, ensuring continuity of care and learning for children aged 5‑19 with autism, ADHD, SEMH and related needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 or small‑group support to SEN pupils in primary and secondary settings.
- Assist pupils in developing life‑skills, emotional regulation and engagement with classroom activities.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow established safeguarding procedures.
- Build positive relationships with teachers, support staff and pupils.
Required profile
- University students, recent graduates or individuals seeking flexible, part‑time work.
- Enthusiastic about supporting vulnerable children and willing to work across multiple boroughs (Newham, Tower Hamlets, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, etc.).
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow guidance and training provided.
