Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to shape the future of our enterprise data architecture within a modern cloud environment. You will lead the design, development and evolution of a scalable, secure data platform that supports business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the architecture of cloud‑based data platforms.
• Create architectural documentation, technical designs and standards.
• Champion Data Mesh and Data‑as‑a‑Product principles across development teams.
• Evaluate, recommend and integrate tools, technologies and services.
• Establish best‑practice governance frameworks and security standards.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines for batch, event‑driven and streaming workloads.
• Mentor engineers and analysts, providing technical leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape data strategy and road‑maps.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Solutions Architect.
• Strong expertise with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of modern data platform technologies, especially Google BigQuery.
• Experience with Data Mesh, data warehousing and large‑scale data solutions.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance and GDPR requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
