Data Delivery Manager – London (Contract)

About the role

The Data Delivery Manager will lead strategic data initiatives across Data Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, Platform and Governance teams. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will bring structure, pace and predictability to complex data projects while operating in a hybrid environment (2‑3 days per week on‑site in London).

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end data projects from scoping and planning through implementation and handover.
• Coordinate delivery across Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Platform, product and business teams.
• Own project plans, milestones, resources, budgets, RAID logs and cross‑team dependencies.
• Establish and manage project governance and Agile delivery ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Track progress against scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes, providing clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Manage resource requirements, risks, blockers and delivery dependencies.
• Coordinate third‑party suppliers and delivery partners where required.
• Support continuous improvement of delivery processes and ways of working.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Data Delivery Manager, Data Project Manager or similar.
• Proven delivery experience within Data & Analytics or a closely related technical environment.
• Experience working with Data Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics and/or Data Product teams.
• Background in fast‑paced digital/consumer sectors such as media, publishing, subscription or e‑commerce.
• Demonstrated Agile expertise across Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams.

What we offer

• £450‑£500 per day (Inside IR35)
• Contract until end of March 2027
• Hybrid working (2‑3 days per week on‑site in London)
