Data Engineer – Cloud Data Platform (London)

About the role

We are supporting a fast‑growing loyalty and rewards organisation that is expanding its data engineering capability. As a Data Engineer you will design, build and optimise cloud‑based data pipelines and models within a modern AWS‑Snowflake platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Build and optimise data models in the Snowflake data platform.
• Support delivery of reliable data solutions and platform improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data engineering, preferably at senior level.
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS services, Snowflake and dbt.
• Proficient SQL skills and solid understanding of data modelling and transformation.
• Ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams.

What we offer

• Initial 6‑month contract (outside IR35) with a daily rate of £550‑£590.
• Hybrid work mode – primarily remote with one day per month onsite in London.
