Data Pipeline Analyst

About the role

As a Data Pipeline Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ensuring data is easily accessible for performance evaluation and decision‑making processes. You will work closely with data stewards, analysts, and other stakeholders to drive data‑driven initiatives and optimise our data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and consistently improve Qlik Talend pipelines.
• Create and maintain pipelines for each customer’s data.
• Develop a reusable toolkit of code for validation and transformations.
• Automate validation checks on incoming data before loading.
• Become an expert in Qlik Talend Studio to perform business‑requested transformations.
• Use Java for advanced data manipulation.
• Ensure standards are maintained and poor data is not loaded into the database.
• Use GitHub for source control of pipelines.
• Liaise with Data Stewards and business teams to understand requirements and keep them informed of progress.
• Provide feedback on the quality of customers’ data.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or solid related work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
