Data Product Manager

About the role

Barclays is looking for a Data Product Manager within its Decision Intelligence business area, reporting into Product Development & Management. You will lead the strategic direction of a data-driven product, defining its vision, market positioning and competitive edge, and work closely with marketing, engineering, operations and sales teams. The role is based in Northampton (Pavilion Drive) or Knutsford (Radbroke Hall).

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy that aligns with business vision, manages capabilities and balances short-term and long-term goals.
• Lead cross-functional relationships so that product strategy and goals are aligned across teams.
• Oversee product risk management, including identifying risks and mitigating them, keeping product management and control aligned.
• Own the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with end-to-end customer expectations.
• Deliver objectives and key outcomes that support business goals, financial targets and strategic vision.
• Monitor product performance through data-driven analysis and adjust strategy as needed.
• Keep a customer-first approach, using customer insights, feedback and pain points in product decisions.
• Understand pricing models, cost structures and ROI to make financially grounded product decisions.

Required profile

• Experience in data product management, including defining product vision, strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience with data platforms and data ecosystems.
• Experience with user-centred design and customer-focused product development.
• Assessment may cover risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology skills.
