Data Protection Solicitor – 5+ PQE (Hybrid London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Solicitor to join a specialist team in London. The role involves advising a diverse client base on complex privacy, defamation and data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions, with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on GDPR compliance, data protection, defamation, misuse of private information and related privacy issues.
• Manage matters from pre‑action advice through litigation, settlement and enforcement, often on high‑profile, multi‑jurisdictional disputes.
• Lead reputation‑management and online content‑removal projects for clients.
• Contribute to business development and the growth of the specialist practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling defamation, privacy, confidentiality and data‑protection claims.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex litigation lifecycles.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of building long‑term client relationships.
