Data Scientist – AI & Machine Learning (DV Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking Data Scientists with a strong AI focus to join a global technology and consulting leader. The role is based on‑site in Central London and supports a portfolio of public and private sector projects, requiring both technical depth and client‑facing expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale machine‑learning, generative‑AI, NLP and computer‑vision solutions for diverse clients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical specifications and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Lead Agile delivery teams, manage RFI/RFP processes and present proposals to win new work.
• Deploy models and services using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Contribute to thought leadership by publishing whitepapers and presenting at industry conferences.

Required profile

• Active enhanced DV clearance (Junior to Lead level).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Proven experience in client‑facing consultancy or project delivery.

Required skills

• Machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, deep learning, graph analytics, time‑series analysis.
• Data‑science platforms such as Databricks and AzureML.
• Cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tooling.
