Data Support Analyst

About the role

Tech Pipeline partners with a London‑based investment firm to ensure their data reporting and trade reconciliation processes run smoothly. As a Data Support Analyst you will work remotely, tracing data through logs and interfaces to identify and fix breakdowns in the flow of information between trading platforms and internal accounting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily error logs to locate failed automated data transfers.
• Manually reconcile internal records with external bank statements to resolve discrepancies.
• Update internal documentation and SOPs to reflect new fixes and workflows.
• Check routing rules in CRM and trade management systems to ensure correct data routing.
• Use spreadsheet functions to clean and prepare transaction histories before import.
• Trace data points from entry to final reporting dashboards to pinpoint friction.
• Participate in weekly technical reviews to present identified issues and solutions.

Required profile

• Logical problem‑solving mindset with curiosity about system communication.
• Basic proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for error detection and data organization.
• Strong written communication for clear remote documentation.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a steady task rhythm.
• Willingness to learn investment‑operations terminology.
• High attention to detail when handling large data sets or configuration settings.
