Dealer Training Specialist

About the role

The Dealer Training Specialist will join a fast‑growing automotive manufacturer to elevate the performance of its UK dealer network. Working closely with senior commercial leaders, you will design and deliver training that improves sales results, customer experience, and operational excellence across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face and virtual sales training programmes for dealers nationwide.
• Support induction and onboarding for new retailer staff.
• Facilitate product‑launch training events and sales accreditation programmes.
• Coach dealer teams on sales processes, customer journey standards, and performance improvement.
• Design training materials, workshop content and e‑learning modules.
• Partner with regional field teams to identify training needs and implement targeted development plans.
• Assist with network‑wide training initiatives and commercial projects.
• Track training effectiveness and contribute to continuous‑improvement strategies.

Required profile

• Previous automotive OEM experience in training, sales development, retailer performance or network operations.
• Proven track record delivering sales or retailer training within the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of dealer operations, customer experience and retail performance metrics.
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
