Delivery Driver (3.5T Van)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5‑tonne van, delivering plumbing and heating supplies from our Tonbridge hub to sites across London. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a regular Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to building sites, typically 8‑12 stops per day.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the van is road‑worthy.
• Load and unload heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks, following safe manual‑handling procedures.
• Assist in the warehouse when deliveries finish early, including unloading stock, picking and packing orders, conducting stock checks and general tidying.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Full clean UK manual driving licence.
• Previous experience in multi‑drop deliveries is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to help in the warehouse to keep the branch running smoothly.
• Positive, enthusiastic approach with a strong work ethic.
