About the role
Join a leading recruitment partner to work as a Delivery Van Driver for a major supermarket client. You will be responsible for delivering grocery orders safely and on time to customers' homes across the Penrith area, following pre‑planned routes.
Key responsibilities
- Load customer orders into the van, verify items and ensure accuracy before departure.
- Deliver groceries to customers' residences, adhering to scheduled routes and time windows.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during each interaction.
- Obtain signatures or confirmations where required and record successful deliveries.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to lift items up to 25 kg.
- Excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Full UK driving licence held for more than one year, with no penalty points and no disqualification in the past year.
Required skills
- Valid UK driving licence.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £12.71 – £13.11.
- Temp‑to‑perm opportunity with full training provided.
- Potential for overtime and flexible shift patterns.
