Deputy General Manager – Bowling & Family Entertainment Centre

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Deputy General Manager to take charge of a busy bowling and family entertainment centre in Oxford. You will act as the primary decision‑maker when the General Manager is absent and will be supported to progress to a General Manager position within 12‑18 months.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop the team on each shift.
• Maintain a safe, fun environment for customers.
• Work hands‑on across all centre areas, both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house.
• Support the General Manager with operational duties and financial target delivery.
• Ensure service standards and health‑and‑safety compliance are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in a customer‑facing management role, preferably in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Proven track record of meeting financial targets and driving sales.
• Passion for people development and coaching.
• Strong customer‑service focus and ambition for success.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
