Deputy Manager – Clinical Care

About the role
Join Agincare as a Clinical Deputy Manager and help deliver safe, person‑centred care to residents in Gillingham. You will support the Registered Manager and lead a team of care assistants and nurses to maintain high standards of wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the care team to ensure safe, supportive, person‑centred care for residents.
- Induct new staff and provide supervision and support to existing team members.
- Conduct care audits, trigger reviews, and keep care plans up‑to‑date.
- Liaise with families, social workers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding risks and incidents.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including care notes and medication charts.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Experience leading a team of care assistants and registered nurses.
- Active NMC pin.
- QCF Level 3 Diploma or higher in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
- Availability to work 42 hours per week, including weekends.
Required skills
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance processes.
