Deputy Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the Ark venue in Glasgow, part of Stonegate Group’s portfolio of pubs and bars. In this role you will work closely with the General Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver memorable guest experiences across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear guidance, encouragement and support to develop the team’s performance.
• Assist the General Manager in implementing the venue’s vision and operational standards.
• Maintain consistency in service, health‑and‑safety and brand procedures.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Oversee day‑to‑day bar and kitchen operations, including stock control and guest interaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a pub, bar or restaurant.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• Passion for hospitality, craft beers, cocktails and sport‑focused environments.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
