Deputy Support Manager

About the role

The Camden Society is seeking a Deputy Support Manager to join its Oxfordshire team. This full‑time, permanent position offers a salary of £31,825.42 per year and 33 days of annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. You will work on a rotating shift pattern, travelling between support addresses across the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach support staff, fostering continuous improvement and best practice.
• Assist the Support Manager with rota planning, record keeping and audit activities.
• Support individuals in designing personalised support plans and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
• Act as a role model on shift, deputising for the Support Manager when required.
• Promote empowerment, inclusion, rights and independence for people with learning disabilities.

Required profile

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualification (Level 3+ in England or SCQF 7+ in Scotland).
• Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and care regulations.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
