Desarrollador Backend

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our multinational technology consultancy. The role focuses on designing, building, and evolving high‑performance, secure backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Define, evolve, and maintain a micro‑services architecture.
• Implement complex business logic following clean‑architecture and SOLID principles.
• Optimize application and database performance at scale.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well‑documented code that sets standards for the team.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best development practices.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and stakeholder teams.
• Define and implement security strategies (authentication, authorization, data protection).
• Document technical decisions, data flows, and architecture.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, and solution definition.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and development practices.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Proven experience building REST APIs.
• At least 2 years in a senior or technical‑lead role is desirable.
