Design & Technology Instructor/Teacher

About the role

Are you passionate about inspiring young people through creativity and practical learning? We are seeking an enthusiastic Design & Technology Instructor/Teacher to deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons across multiple key stages at Manor House School.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach practical and theory‑based lessons in product design, resistant materials, carpentry, graphics and engineering principles for Key Stages 1‑4.
• Use workshop resources safely and effectively, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the curriculum and undertake additional responsibilities as directed.
• Act as a form tutor, supporting pupils’ academic, social and personal development.
• Contribute to whole‑school literacy, numeracy and life‑skills initiatives and support SEND provision, including SEMH needs.

• Strong commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding.
• UK QTS (desirable) and a full UK driving licence.
