Design & Technology Teacher (KS3‑4) – Part‑time

About the role
We are seeking a Design & Technology (DT) teacher to join a well‑regarded mixed comprehensive school in central London. The position is part‑time, three days a week, commencing in September and covering Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the AQA GCSE Design and Technology curriculum.
- Teach resistant materials and food technology where possible.
- Use 2D design and CAD software confidently in lessons.
- Operate machinery, equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of a range of materials, designing and manufacturing processes.
- Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition at KS3 and KS4.
Required profile
- Qualified to teach in the UK (QTS) or hold an equivalent overseas secondary teaching qualification.
- Open to candidates at any career stage, including newly qualified teachers.
- Willing and able to teach both Design & Technology and Food Preparation/Nutrition.

What we offer
- Daily rate of £190‑£300.
