About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Design & Technology (DT) Technician to support a secondary school in the Wirral. The role starts in September 2026 and is a full‑time, short‑term position within the school’s DT department.
Key responsibilities
- Support DT lessons across the department
- Prepare materials and maintain equipment
- Ensure workshop safety standards are upheld
- Assist teaching staff where required
Required profile
- Previous experience as a DT Technician in a school setting
- DATA training is essential
- Strong organisational skills and ability to support practical lessons
- Availability to start immediately
