Desktop Support Engineer – Microsoft, Azure & O365

About the role

ECI is looking for an enthusiastic Desktop Support Engineer to join its London team. You will provide first- and second-line support for end-users working with Windows, Exchange and Office 365, ensuring smooth daily operations for our financial-services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve Level 1 and Level 2 tickets related to desktop, server and cloud infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Azure and Windows environments, including password resets, mailbox issues and remote access (Citrix, Terminal Services).
• Perform routine system maintenance such as OS patching, software upgrades and critical updates.
• Administer Active Directory – create/remove accounts, manage group policies and schedule tasks.
• Utilise Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools for device provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex problems to senior teams and coordinate with third‑party vendors for warranty repairs.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non‑technical users.
• Customer‑focused mindset and solid prioritisation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent 3+ years of hands‑on experience.
