Developer Relations & Community Manager (APAC)

About the role

The OpenClaw Foundation is seeking a senior Developer Relations & Community Manager for the APAC region. This founding role will define and scale the foundation’s developer engagement, community programs, and ecosystem partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the OpenClaw developer community strategy, growing contributor participation across projects.
• Create onboarding experiences, recognition programs, and community governance initiatives.
• Serve as a public advocate, representing OpenClaw at conferences, hackathons, podcasts, webinars, and industry events.
• Produce high‑quality technical content such as tutorials, guides, documentation, blog posts, videos, demos, webinars, case studies, and newsletters.
• Establish ecosystem partnerships with startups, enterprises, academic institutions, and open‑source communities.
• Launch and manage ambassador, contributor, grant, mentorship, hackathon, meetup, and virtual event programs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Community Management, or Open‑Source Program Management.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean.
• Proven ability to build trust with engineers, maintainers, researchers, and community leaders.
• Strong project‑management and organizational skills; comfortable in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of open‑source development workflows.
• Strong familiarity with GitHub‑based collaboration models.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating technical content for developer audiences.
