DevOps Consultant (DevSecOps) – Part‑time Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant to design, implement, and optimise secure CI/CD pipelines within an Azure‑based environment on a part‑time, 3‑6 month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Integrate security tooling such as SAST and DAST into build and release pipelines.
• Embed DevSecOps controls including vulnerability scanning, secure build gates, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to improve build, test, deployment workflows, feedback loops and release quality.
• Implement DevOps best practices across automation, version‑control strategies, monitoring and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, and security issues.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to internal teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven background in DevOps or DevSecOps consulting roles.
• Hands‑on experience integrating SAST and DAST tools.
• Solid understanding of secure software delivery practices.
• Experience with containerisation or orchestration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure‑as‑code principles.

What we offer

• Daily rate of £550‑£650.
• Part‑time schedule: 2‑3 days per week, with 2 days on‑site in Milton Keynes.
• 3‑6 month contract duration.
