DevOps Engineer - Azure Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong Azure focus to join Burendo. You will work on client projects, helping organisations optimise and extend their Azure environments while collaborating with a team that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement and shared learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networking, storage and identity services.
• Introduce and embed DevOps practices within client teams, guiding them through capability growth.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Ensure cloud security, governance and compliance through Azure AD, IAM and related controls.

Required profile

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, identity, App Services, Azure SQL, AKS).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• CI/CD pipeline creation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance and compliance (Azure AD, IAM).
