DevOps Engineer – Platform Engineering & Security

About the role

We are supporting a large enterprise organisation that is investing heavily in platform engineering, security automation and modern software delivery. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will join a high‑performing Platform Engineering team delivering secure, scalable and automated solutions across a complex technology estate.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance enterprise‑wide CI/CD platforms and automation capabilities.
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implement and support security controls, governance processes and access‑management solutions.
• Integrate security scanning, compliance validation and vulnerability management into engineering workflows.
• Develop automation that improves efficiency and reduces manual intervention.
• Support observability, monitoring, logging and platform reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database and security teams to deliver scalable platform solutions.
• Contribute to platform standardisation, engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise‑scale CI/CD and automation platforms.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and security‑focused engineering practices.
• Experience with modern cloud and infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code and configuration‑management approaches.
• Proven ability to operate within large, complex, highly governed environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
