Diagnostic Technician - Poole Audi

About the role

Poole Audi, part of Van Mossel Automotive Group, is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join its aftersales team. The role covers pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing and maintenance on premium vehicles, within a top 10 Audi dealership. Hours are 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5:15pm, with half days and paid overtime on Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, reporting issues to the workshop controller and carrying out extra work advised by managers or advisors
• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment, following brand guidelines
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, warranty procedures and quality standards
• Make sure vehicles meet industry safety standards when returned to customers and record faults on job cards

Required profile

• Experience as a vehicle technician; VAG experience is an advantage
• NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, inclusive attitude in a team environment, professional and customer-focused
