Digital Assets & Financial Crime Lead (2‑Year Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Assets & Financial Crime Lead to join our investigations and intelligence team on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The successful candidate will act as the subject‑matter expert on cryptocurrency and blockchain‑related risks, supporting complex due‑diligence reviews, corporate investigations and financial‑crime enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all cryptocurrency, blockchain intelligence and digital‑asset investigations.
• Conduct specialist crypto analysis for enhanced due‑diligence, sanctions exposure and fraud detection.
• Produce high‑quality reports translating technical blockchain findings into clear, actionable intelligence.
• Advise investigation teams on research methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Monitor emerging trends in crypto regulation, blockchain analytics and financial‑crime typologies.
• Develop guidance, frameworks and training materials for colleagues.
• Review and quality‑assure crypto‑related investigative outputs.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in cryptocurrency, blockchain intelligence and digital‑asset ecosystems.
• Experience working within financial‑crime, sanctions, fraud or enhanced due‑diligence environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex blockchain data.
• Excellent written communication to produce defensible client reports.
