Digital Business Analyst

About the role

PoloWorks is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to support strategic and operational change initiatives focused on AI, automation and process improvement within its insurance division. You will act as the bridge between business users, delivery teams and technology partners, translating needs into clear requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and document business requirements, processes and data needs for new and existing initiatives.
• Analyse and map data flows between core insurance processes and systems, including intelligent document processing, Policy Administration Systems, orchestration and reporting tools.
• Produce specifications, user stories, business cases and process maps.
• Develop data dictionaries, schemas, data lineage and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure accurate development and testing, including test case definition and UAT participation.
• Identify optimisation or automation opportunities and support continuous improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, project stand‑ups and vendor evaluations.
• Work with project managers to track progress, highlight risks and ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in insurance or financial services.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear process maps and requirement artefacts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment with multiple concurrent projects.
