Director, Account Management – B2B Payments

About the role

The Director, Account Management will drive growth of Mastercard’s B2B acceptance across the UK & Ireland. Working closely with the B2B Acceptance Director, the role focuses on supplier growth, partner activation and market execution for acquirers, issuers, fintechs and strategic ecosystem partners.

Key responsibilities

• Accelerate adoption of Mastercard's B2B acceptance capabilities, including MRM and CDP.
• Identify new payment flows and market opportunities across UK & Ireland.
• Support acquirers in developing and scaling B2B acceptance propositions.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of B2B acceptance opportunities and convert strategy into measurable volume growth.
• Lead supplier engagement and activation, building relationships with strategic suppliers and finance leaders.
• Develop industry‑specific sales plays, value propositions and commercial growth strategies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in payments, acquiring, commercial cards, fintech or related fields.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience working with acquirers, issuers, payment providers and large corporate organisations.
• Understanding of supplier economics, working capital and corporate finance solutions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Mastercard’s MRM and CDP acceptance solutions.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and payment automation solutions.
