Director - Media & Tech Corporate Sector Coverage

About the role

We are partnering with a leading UK corporate and investment banking platform to hire a Director for its Media & Technology Corporate Coverage team. The role will focus on large UK corporates, including FTSE‑listed and multinational companies, and will have high visibility across a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of Media & Technology clients.
• Deliver the full suite of corporate banking solutions, including lending, liquidity and risk‑management products.
• Identify and execute revenue opportunities across investment‑grade, leveraged finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Provide sector insight and thought leadership, maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and client dynamics.
• Coordinate deal execution internally, working closely with product specialists, credit, risk and execution teams.
• Originate new business opportunities and contribute to broader sector growth initiatives.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and performance.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in corporate banking or relationship management with exposure to large‑cap UK clients.
• Strong credit and financial analysis capability, with experience structuring and executing transactions.
