Director of Merchandising & Buying, EMEA

SKIMS is seeking a Director of Merchandising & Buying for the EMEA region to lead the regional merchandising and buying strategy across owned retail, wholesale and franchise channels. The role will translate global brand strategy into localized assortments, drive commercial performance and ensure a consistent brand experience for customers across diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the merchandising and buying strategy for the EMEA marketplace, aligning seasonal and annual commercial objectives with regional customer needs.
• Develop localized assortments based on climate, cultural considerations, market maturity and channel requirements while maintaining the global SKIMS product vision.
• Manage in‑season trading, inventory productivity and markdown strategies by monitoring performance across markets and channels.
• Collaborate with owned retail, wholesale and franchise partners to create differentiated merchandising frameworks and optimise account performance.
• Lead market expansion initiatives, defining launch assortments, inventory plans and pricing architecture for new EMEA markets.
• Represent the EMEA customer voice in global product discussions, providing data‑driven insights to influence product development and seasonal architecture.
• Build and develop a high‑performing EMEA merchandising team, establishing processes, tools and a culture of operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion, Retail Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in merchandising, buying or commercial leadership within premium fashion.
