Director of Play – Global Leadership Role with Relocation

About the role

The Director of Play will lead the play and enrichment proposition across a portfolio of premium family clubs and destinations worldwide. Based in The Bahamas, you will guide multi‑site teams, shape programming standards, and support the brand’s rapid international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all Play Managers and the central Activity Planning Team across existing locations.
• Develop and maintain global standards for programming, training, safeguarding and team development.
• Lead the design and rollout of new play concepts for upcoming sites in emerging markets.
• Ensure compliance with child welfare and safeguarding regulations in every jurisdiction.
• Collaborate with Group Directors to align play initiatives with overall business strategy.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in children’s enrichment, camps, family hospitality, leisure or experiential education.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑site teams across different cultures.
• Strong background in programme design, activity delivery and child safeguarding.
• Experience in premium hospitality or guest‑experience environments is highly desirable.
• Willingness to relocate to The Bahamas and travel internationally on a regular basis.
